Research Operations Manager

Role: Research Operations Manager

Location: Basking Ridge, New Jersey

About the role: 

As the Research Operations Manager, you will play a central role in the operations of research projects within the User Experience Research (UXR) team. You will be responsible for coordinating participants while ensuring that studies are conducted ethically, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will also act as a liaison between the research team, study participants, and other stakeholders. Research Coordinators should be detail-oriented, have strong follow-through skills, and be able to proactively identify and solve problems. As a utility and support role, you will wear many hats to ensure efficiency throughout the UXR team. 

What you will be doing: 

  • Lead the recruitment of consumer-facing research projects for the UXR team by ensuring successful participant procurement and attendance.  
  • Work with vendor platform solutions as well as internal customer data lists to recruit participants for both in-person and remote research.  
  • Coordinate session times in accordance with the researcher’s and participant’s schedule and ost in-person research studies.
  • Program screeners and invitations.
  • Create new processes and relationships with internal teams and stakeholders. 
  • Ensure that research is conducted in compliance with protocols, regulations, and ethical standards.   
  • Collect and catalog consent forms, NDAs, and research artifacts in compliance to standardized processes. 
  • Organize and templatize processes to enable consistency and standardization across the team 
  • Provide additional support as needed to empower researchers to focus on what they do best! This may entail a wide variety of light requests that would navigating through internal resources.  

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Two or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Consumer market research and/or UX/CX research experience. 
  • An understanding of research practices to ensure the tools operate smoothly and at the highest standards.
  • Operations experience and experience in prioritization and increasing process efficiency.
  • Experience with quick-turn, standardized research tools. 
  • Experience using databases, online platforms, and dashboards to facilitate the democratization of data across key stakeholders. 
  • At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $90,000.00 to $100,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.
