Role:  Creative Director - Generative AI & Design 

Location:  New York City

 

About the role: 

We're seeking an expert Creative Director to work alongside our senior creative leadership to lead the integration of GenAI innovation with creative excellence in the beauty and wellbeing sector. This pivotal role demands pioneering new creative development approaches while maintaining the highest standards of craft and design.

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Lead and Inspire: Guide creative teams in crafting innovative, GenAI-driven solutions that align with luxury and beauty brand values. 
  • Creative Excellence: Drive exceptional creative quality across all channels, leveraging AI to elevate premium brand standards. 
  • Champion GenAI: Advocate for the integration of AI tools and methodologies in the creative process. 
  • Strategic Direction: Provide expert creative leadership for beauty and wellbeing clients, ensuring work resonates with sophisticated audiences. 
  • Mentor Talent: Develop and nurture creative talent, fostering a culture of AI innovation and design excellence. 
  • Client Partnership: Build trust with clients in GenAI applications while safeguarding brand integrity. 

Creative & Technical Leadership: 

  • Utilize GenAI Tools: Lead teams in employing tools like ChatGPT, Midjourney, and Adobe Firefly to enhance creative output. 
  • Best Practices: Establish and ensure adherence to GenAI implementation standards for luxury brand work. 
  • Craft Excellence: Maintain exceptional craft and design quality across all projects. 
  • Drive Innovation: Pioneered innovation in GenAI applications while preserving brand equity. 
  • Creative Reviews: Conduct reviews with constructive feedback to continually elevate work quality. 

Required Experience & Skills: 

  • Experience: 10-15 years in creative leadership with significant exposure to luxury spirits, beauty, or wellbeing brands. 
  • Track Record: Proven history of award-winning work and team leadership. 
  • GenAI Proficiency: Deep understanding of GenAI technologies and their creative applications. 
  • Aesthetic Skills: Strong appreciation for craft, design, and luxury brand aesthetics. 
  • Mentorship: Experience in mentoring and developing creative talent. 
  • Client Management: Excellence in client presentation and stakeholder relationships. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and GenAI platforms. 

 

What you need to be great in this role: 

  • Direct experience in luxury, beauty, or wellbeing sectors. 
  • Multi-market or global brand experience. 
  • Track record of successful GenAI implementation in creative projects. 
  • Expertise in digital-first creative development.

At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range according to what's stated below. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER’s total compensation package.

Salary Range

$225,250 - $251,750 USD
