Role: Community Manager

Location: Toronto, Ontario

About the role:

As Community Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of brand social channels — from content creation and publishing to community engagement and performance reporting. Working closely with account management and creative teams, you'll contribute ideas and bring a sharp understanding of what works on social. This is a role for someone naturally curious about culture, comfortable working at pace, and able to adapt their voice across multiple brand identities.

What you will be doing:

  • Create, publish, and manage content across brand social channels including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Reddit
  • Generate content ideas daily and execute them with speed and quality
  • Engage with communities in the comments — responding to fans, initiating conversations, and identifying content opportunities in real time
  • Monitor platforms for trending moments and cultural hooks, proposing relevant, brand-appropriate responses
  • Contribute to influencer briefs alongside the wider team
  • Track, analyse, and report on content performance against KPIs using platform analytics and social tools
  • Partner with account management and creative teams to develop larger campaign ideas
  • Stay current with platform changes, algorithm updates, and emerging social formats — and bring fresh thinking to how the team works

What you need to be great in this role:

  • A strong grasp of major social platforms and what makes content perform — across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest, and Reddit
  • Versatile writing ability — you can adapt tone and voice to suit different brands and audiences
  • Experience creating and posting content for brand social channels
  • Familiarity with social analytics and reporting tools such as Khoros, Sprout, Sprinklr, or Hootsuite
  • Comfort working in fast-moving environments where daily output is expected
  • An eye for culture — you notice what's trending, what's resonating, and what's worth engaging with
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Adobe Photoshop is a plus
  • Agency or in-house brand experience is helpful — but strong ideas and platform instinct matter just as much

Gen AI & Agentic Thinking

  • Basic proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to social content creation and copywriting
  • Curiosity about how AI can support content ideation, caption writing, and social reporting
  • Willingness to develop prompting skills and explore AI-assisted workflows
  • Agentic mindset: ability to break tasks into clear steps, prioritise, and find efficient solutions
