Role: Web Content Manager

Location:  Philadelphia

About the role:

You will be the hands-on specialist for web content across the client's sites. You'll turn business and content requirements into clear, engaging pages, working directly in the CMS and Figma without relying on development support for routine updates. You'll partner with UX/UI, development, marketing and business stakeholders, and you'll spot where components, templates and processes can work better. You'll set a high standard for quality, governance and consistency, and share good practice with colleagues.

What you will be doing:

  • Build, edit, publish and maintain webpages in the CMS, using existing components to bring approved designs and content to life.
  • Create page designs and layouts in Figma, following the design system and component standards.
  • Translate business and content requirements into intuitive, visually engaging pages.
  • Manage day-to-day updates across copy, imagery, links, documents, metadata and calls to action.
  • Make sure pages meet UX/UI, accessibility, responsive design, SEO and brand standards.
  • Carry out QA across desktop, tablet and mobile before anything goes live.
  • Recommend and shape improvements to components, templates and page experiences.
  • Work with UX/UI designers and developers to define new components or functionality when needed.
  • Coordinate content updates and release schedules across multiple sites and stakeholders.
  • Be accountable for website governance, including content consistency, quality and lifecycle management.
  • Partner with client stakeholders to understand their priorities, give clear guidance on timelines and effort, and flag risks early.
  • Use performance and content data to recommend changes that improve results for the client.

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Strong, hands-on skills in an enterprise CMS, with the ability to build and QA pages independently.
  • Expert proficiency in Figma and in working with component-based design systems.
  • A solid understanding of UX/UI and responsive design principles.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, accessibility and web content best practice.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage several priorities and stakeholders at once.
  • Clear, collaborative communication with design, development, marketing and client teams.
  • A proactive approach to improving how pages, components and processes work.

Gen AI and Agentic Thinking

  • Advanced use of Gen AI tools relevant to web content, such as drafting, metadata, alt text and QA support, to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Experience designing AI-assisted workflows for yourself and your team.
  • Ability to show others how to use AI tools effectively.
  • Agentic thinking for complex, multi-step challenges, such as breaking a multi-site release into clear stages.
  • A strong understanding of AI's capabilities and limitations, with rigorous human oversight of everything published.
