Product Graduate Intern

Job overview:

Omada is reimagining virtual-first care for pre-diabetes, diabetes, hypertension, and musculoskeletal conditions, taking into account personal context and comorbid health conditions. As a Product Graduate Intern, you will lead advance discovery, work with engineers on feature development,  and help to shape strategic initiatives in support of Omada’s long term vision. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, design effective technical solutions, and drive the execution and adoption of these solutions throughout the organization.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with engineering, design, marketing, and data to identify the biggest opportunities for improvement, prioritize projects, build new features, and measure their impact. This is a full-time summer internship slated from from June through August/September 2025.  

Job Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

  1. Application Flow Enhancement:
    1. In-depth Analysis: Utilize our recent integration with Amplitude to conduct a thorough analysis of the program application process. Identify trends, opportunities, and outliers that warrant deeper exploration and improvement.
    2. Strategic Insight Development: Use insights from the analysis to recommend strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the application flow, increasing efficiency, and improving the user experience.
  2. Competitor Market Research:
    1. Competitive Analysis: Conduct research to review competitors' application flows using publicly available information. Identify key features or processes that we may be lacking and recommend potential enhancements to our application procedures.
    2. Industry Benchmarking: Establish benchmarks based on competitor analysis to ensure our application flow remains competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  3. A/B Testing Program Creation:
    1. Test Design: Develop an A/B testing framework based on insights from application flow analysis. Design tests that challenge our current process with the aim of reducing friction and improving user experience.
    2. Execution and Analysis: Implement tests and analyze results to make data-driven decisions for optimizing the application process.
  4. Collaboration with ESI and CVS Initiatives:
    1. Engagement with Business Areas: Actively engage with ESI and CVS initiatives related to APO/DML, ensuring understanding of key customer transitions and acceleration within these areas.
    2. Communication Strategy: Assist in developing and executing a communication strategy for ESI, identifying key messages and channels to be utilized and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  5. Email Communication Overhaul:
    1. Rejection Email Review: Lead a review of current rejection email templates managed by the Enrollment team. Identify areas for improvement in content and presentation to enhance clarity, tone, and user experience.
    2. Email Template Redesign: Develop revised email templates that reflect updated brand guidelines and communication strategies, ensuring consistency and effectiveness of messaging.

  1. Analytical Skills:
    1. Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to use analytical tools such as Amplitude, Google Analytics, or similar platforms to derive meaningful insights.
    2. Strong problem-solving abilities to identify trends, opportunities, and outliers within data sets.

 

  1. Strategic Thinking:
    1. Ability to develop strategic initiatives based on analytical insights, with a focus on optimizing processes and improving user experience.
    2. Creative thinking to challenge existing processes and propose innovative solutions for improvement.
  2. Market Research Competence:
    1. Experience in conducting competitive analysis and benchmarking against industry standards to identify gaps and opportunities.
    2. Strong research skills to gather, analyze, and synthesize information from various sources, including publicly available data on competitors.
  3. A/B Testing Expertise:
    1. Experience in designing and executing A/B tests, with a thorough understanding of test setup, variables, and result analysis.
    2. Ability to interpret test results and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  4. Communication and Collaboration:
    1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
    2. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including the Enrollment team and those involved in ESI and CVS initiatives.
  5. Project Management:
    1. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting deadlines.
    2. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or collaboratively to achieve project objectives.
  6. Technical Proficiency:
    1. Familiarity with CRM and email marketing tools for managing and optimizing email communications.
    2. Basic understanding of web technologies and user experience principles to assist in application flow improvements.
  7. Attention to Detail:
    1. Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in analysis, testing, and communication materials

 

About you:

  • Currently pursuing a MBA, Master's or other advanced degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Health Informatics, Business, or a related field.
  • Coursework or demonstrated interest in digital health, healthcare technology, or health sciences is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of product development cycles and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
  • Familiarity with digital health technologies and platforms is advantageous.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
  • Openness to receiving feedback and willingness to make adjustments based on guidance.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time summer internship duration (June-Aug/Sept)

Below is a compensation summary for this role:

Compensation: $48.08/hr. The actual offer, including the compensation package, is determined based on multiple factors, such as the candidate's skills and experience, and other business considerations.
