BD Solution Architect

Job Opportunity: Our team is seeking a talented BD Solutions Architect to work in our Reston, VA location. 

What You'll Get to Do as a BD Solutions Architect:

  • Work within the business development team to provide technical subject matter expertise and solutioning leadership during opportunity qualification, capture, and proposal. 
  • Develop, write, and review compelling technical content for submission to customers and external partners.
  • Collaborate directly with technical leadership and customers to define innovative, client-focused software technical solutions.
  • Participate in continuous learning practices to stay abreast of new standards and technologies, and make recommendations towards adoption of cutting-edge  technologies. 
  • Assist in transition management during contract start up providing technical solution consulting as well as support other client facing needs.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizen to obtain a Government Security Clearance.
  • B.S. degree in computer science or related discipline with at least 8 years of experience.
  • Advanced degree in related discipline will be given special consideration.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts in simple and clear narratives.
  • Experience developing software solutions and architectures in accordance with open standards and federal enterprise architectures.
  • Experience with the contract acquisition process, including proposal writing, code or product submission, and technical demonstrations as part of proposal evaluation. 
  • Flexible delivery skillset and software development experience to fulfill multiple roles within technical demonstrations as needed, including technical lead, solution architect, product owner, scrum master, software engineer.
  • Technical leadership experience within a large Agile DevSecOps environment using cloud-based systems (AWS).
  • Ability to prepare and present high quality technical briefings and presentations to government clients.
