Program Manager, Engineering & Sales

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Program Manager to support our VP of Engineering and VP of Sales. This role requires exceptional multitasking abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.  This is a contract position available with the option to work either full-time or part-time.

What You'll Do

  • Provide administrative support to the VP of Engineering and VP of Sales
  • Drive certain engineering programs: e.g. track progress on quality efforts, weekly project reviews, follow up on incident progress & external facing postmortem/RCA
  • Own project accountability for assigned Engineering and Sales programs/projects - e.g. checking in necessary tools and following up with necessary parties to ensure information is being entered accordingly, timelines are being met, and the projects are running smoothly 
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, assign action items, and follow up on task completion (may also involve aggregating and summarizing other docs or feedback)
  • Assist with internal event programming, facilitation, and communication
  • Manage internal communications for recurring events (e.g., department all hands and sales call blitzes)
  • Support external communication efforts, including sales campaigns
  • Take initiative in problem-solving and determine when executive action is required
  • Provide analytical support for special projects and assist in report preparation
  • Manage complex scheduling and meeting coordination
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive and confidential information with professionalism

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years of experience in an program management or administrative role, preferably supporting VP-level executives
  • Proven track record of outstanding performance and initiative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently
  • Proficiency in project management tools (experience with Asana is a plus)
  • Ability to work independently with limited direction and handle ambiguity
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities
  • Tact and diplomacy in all interactions, with the ability to build rapport at all levels
  • Adaptability to quick changes and the ability to think creatively under pressure

The New York and California base salary for this contract position is between $35 to $40 per hour. Your exact starting salary is determined by a number of factors such as your experience, skills, and qualifications.  This role is expected to work between 20 to 40 hours per week.
