Account Manager Trainer - GTM Enablement

As an Account Manager Trainer for Restaurant Sales & Services at OpenTable, your primary responsibility will be in delivering comprehensive training programs to AM and AMCQ roles passionate about sales skills, sales process, customer experience, customer support techniques, and standard processes to positively influence Account Management critical metrics. You will play a pivotal role in crafting the success of team members by equipping them with the knowledge and skills vital to excel in their roles. Ideal candidates possess a deep understanding of sales techniques, customer service standard methodologies, and onboarding processes and can inspire and empower employees to achieve outstanding results.

In this role, you will:

  • Play a key role in the design of high impact training programs tailored to the specific needs of customer-facing employees.
  • Deliver scalable enablement programs that positively impact employee productivity and achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Conduct engaging training experiences, applying innovative adult-learning techniques and tools to engage learners and enhance knowledge / skill retention.
  • Confidently and effectively facilitate and present programs while keeping audiences engaged and delivering a clear and memorable message.
  • Consult effectively with key collaborators to develop precise learning outcomes ahead of training design and execution
  • Maintain current knowledge of the latest industry trends, tools and insights, incorporating them into training programs.
  • Adapt training techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles, skill levels, and cultural backgrounds within the audience; Ability to seamlessly adjust execution between in-person vs. virtual learner cohorts.
  • Complete workload with strong program management skills, including leading milestones, meeting deliverables, prioritization, knowing who to keep informed, why and how often, and knowing when to escalate.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of meticulous assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, including gathering feedback from participants and collaborators to identify areas of future improvement
  • Supervise the performance of learners pre and post-training to measure the direct impact of training programs on individual and team success
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of all products and services that OpenTable offers.

  • 5 years+ of relevant experience including corporate learning experience, in a mid to large sized company.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Human Resources, Learning & Development, OD)
  • Consistent record of delivering exceptional training programs, preferably in sales, account management, and onboarding fields.
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of the latest sophisticated sales techniques and customer support standard processes
  • Ability to demonstrate impactful training methods and technologies to create engaging learning experiences
  • Adept at analyzing data to advise decisions, including an ability to understand and communicate key financial metrics of a business
  • Familiarity with modern learning and development platforms and tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with excellence, including an ability to perform well under pressure and against aggressive goals and deadlines
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to analyze training effectiveness, making decisions driven by data insight
  • Experience in using Salesforce and other key sales enablement tools
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% to support global training initiatives

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this United States located role is $65,000 - $75,000 USD.
