Position Overview
The Market Director role is an advanced Sales Leadership role responsible for leading a Capital Sales Team to disrupt the dialysis market while selling our MedTech solution Tablo. Market sales director responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans in all major dialysis markets, Acute, Chronic, and Home. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. The Market Director must be able to lead and inspire a time to drive change and take control, and enough tenacity to ensure sales objectives are met on a consistent basis. The Market Director is expected to be able to teach their teams to provide an extraordinary degree of strategic discovery, executive engagement, project urgency, and solution selling at all levels of healthcare organizations. Market sales director duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships cross-functionally, understanding customer trends and hire, train and develop teams.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Hit or exceed annual sales and revenue capital quota within assigned territory and accounts
- Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base in Acute, Chronic and Home market segments
- Develop a strong network of Key Opinion Leaders to promote the rapid adoption of Tablo
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends and communicate to key stakeholders
- Oversee recruitment of sales personnel for the market, lead, develop and mentor direct reports and coach the team towards high performance, and talent development and retention
- Lead a strong team in developing and managing the market strategy, ensuring successful business growth in both short and long term
- Possess unwavering ethical business attitude
- Build clinical, financial, technical, and administrative sponsorship through expert industry knowledge and intense customer strategic discovery.
- Make the economic case for Tablo through a robust hard dollar ROI
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional leadership skills with deep business acumen
- Proven sales executive experience, meeting, or exceeding targets
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
- Proven ability to position products against competitors
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Follow a defined and complex sales process with an average sales cycle of 6-9 months
- Experience selling Software Analytics and EMR integration
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years sales leadership experience in healthcare capital selling meeting and exceeding budget

- 10 years sales leadership experience in healthcare capital selling meeting and exceeding budget
Salary is $150,000 and the current variable commission at plan is $250,000 (subject to change).
