About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive IT Specialist / Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional project management to by managing an IT support queue, a CISO/DevOps/IT Mutual Change Management Process, System Admin Sprints, and process documentation.
Responsibilities
- Process Documentation - Write clear documents both in a casual tone to guide our end-users through various processes but also a more technical tone for our staff members.
- IT Queue Management - Our tech team works in a series of ticket queues and as project manager will oversee the prioritization, tracking, and resolution of issues within these queues to ensure timely and efficient project delivery, while coordinating with technical teams to address bottlenecks and escalate critical issues when necessary.
- Project Management - Help break down projects into timelines, subtasks, and flowcharts to help explain technical processes and goals to executives.
- System Admin Sprints - Help prioritize and sort system admin requests into biweekly sprints and keep our system admins able to perform at their best.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Project Management role or similar support position.
- Certifications in project management a plus
- Technical Expertise:
- Solid understanding of GSuite, Okta, JAMF, Microsoft Intune, and other common SaaS applications.
- Proficiency with macOS and Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking, VPNs, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
- Process Skills - Familiarity with Sprints, ticket queues, project planning, and more.
- Proactive & Organized:
- Demonstrated proactiveness in identifying technical issues before they become problems.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks efficiently.
- Customer Focused:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide a high level of service to end-users.
The pay ranges for New York-based hires are commensurate with candidate experience.
Pay ranges for candidates working in locations other than New York may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
Compensation Range for New York Based Hires
$110,000 - $140,000 USD
