About The Role:

As part of our mission, we are searching for an accomplished and forward-thinking Head of Product Design to lead and elevate our design team. This role requires a strategic visionary who can harmonize creative innovation with business goals while driving user-centered design across our product ecosystem. You will be instrumental in shaping the design language, product experience, and visual identity of our brand, ensuring we are always ahead of industry trends.

As the Head of Product Design, you will oversee the entire design process, mentor a growing team of talented designers, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver cutting-edge, user-centric products that set new industry standards. We need a proven leader with a track record of building and scaling design teams, fostering innovation, and driving design excellence.

What You’ll Get To Do:

  • Oversee, mentor, and grow a high-performing design team, cultivating an environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with product management, engineering, marketing, and executive teams to align design vision with broader business goals and product strategy.
  • Define and drive the design strategy, ensuring it aligns with both user needs and business objectives while maintaining a cohesive brand identity across all touchpoints.
  • Champion user-centered design, overseeing the full design process—from discovery and ideation to final implementation—ensuring every product delivers exceptional usability and aesthetics.
  • Use research, data, and user feedback to make informed design decisions, solving complex problems with creativity and innovation.
  • Present and articulate design strategies, concepts, and solutions to senior leadership, gaining buy-in and advocating for the design team's vision.
  • Efficiently manage design resources, balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities while maintaining high standards of design quality and consistency.
  • Stay at the forefront of design trends, emerging technologies, and tools, proactively integrating new techniques and best practices to continuously enhance design output.
  • Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers to extend the team's capabilities when needed.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Extensive leadership experience in design roles, ideally within fast-paced, high-growth environments, with a robust portfolio of successful projects across various platforms (digital, mobile, web).
  • Mastery of industry-standard design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite), as well as experience with design systems, prototyping, and user testing frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills, with experience scaling design teams and fostering a collaborative, innovative culture.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to align design decisions with business objectives, ensuring impactful results.
  • Expertise in user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and a deep understanding of modern UX/UI best practices.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively advocate for design and articulate complex design solutions to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for the Wellness industry, with a keen interest in how design can enhance well-being and improve lives.
  • A proven track record of solving complex design challenges with innovative, user-centric solutions.

Grade level and salary ranges are determined primarily through the scope and complexity of the role along with a review of the applicant’s experience and skills, as well as alignment with geographic market data and equity with other team members.
