Looking for a summer opportunity or a gllipse into the property mangement industry? Are you passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces? We’re looking for a seasonal Groundskeeper to help keep our property in pristine condition. In this role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our landscapes are well-maintained, safe, and inviting for all who visit.

  • Up to $17/hr depending on prior related experience

Your role as part of our Paragon family

  •  Maintains the curb appeal of the community by: removing trash and debris from the grounds, removing snow from the walkways, applying salt as needed and maintaining the dumpster area
  • Ensures all exterior lighting is operable and replaces bulbs as necessary
  • Assists with the market ready process by removing debris, trash or personal items from vacant homes/apartments
  • Cleans and maintains the pool/hot tub daily ensuring it is clear of dirt and debris
  • Effectively handles maintenance service requests, correcting the situation within 24 hours, when possible
  • Supports office staff by delivering resident communications to their door
  •  Advises supervisor of necessary maintenance or liability issues throughout the community

Position Requirements

  •  3+ months of grounds keeping, pool service CPO or cleaning experience (preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) open to 16yrs and older (must have reliable transportation to and from the community)
  • Great attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to achieve results individual
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Valid driver’s license recommended
  • Minimal computer skills necessary but must be able to read and understand maintenance work orders
  • Able to work independently with minimal guidance 
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a face paced environment and adapt to changing assignments and priorities
  • Reliable and dependable attendance at the work site
