SUMMARY
Achieve profitable growth through National Account sales increases, management of inventories, strengthening relationships with National Accounts and problem solving, while maintaining the profit goals of Perry Ellis International. In Corporate Division, National accounts include (but not limited to): Activate, AIA, American Solutions for Business, BDA, Boundless, Brown and Bigelow, Facilis Group, Geiger, Halo, Innerworkings, IPromoteU, Jack Nadel, Kaiser and Blair, Legacy Group, Newton, Proforma, Safeguard, Staples, Vernon and Workflow One. With a dedicated focus, the goal of this position is to grow National Account Sales +40%.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Your duties should reflect the most significant aspects of your job. Do not state anything that requires less than 5% of your time.)

Responsible for increasing sales revenue per budget as prepared and forecast
Responsible for identifying large scale corporate uniform/apparel programs for not only Callaway but other PEI brands
Responsible for exploring other long term apparel category opportunities (i.e. Bottoms, woven shirts) within the Corporate channel
Responsible for managing inventories for large scale National programs
Conducts market research and communicates new opportunities to Merchandising
Develops and maintains strong relationships with account management
Assists sales team – ensuring sales team is prepared for all regional presentations, and achieves annual/quarterly/monthly sales goals
Interacts with other departments to problem solve sales issues
Maintain marketing/promo calendars for each National account
Works with Design on all product lines to ensure proper merchandising to fit National account needs
Assist VP on monthly product forecast to wholesale planning to ensure proper inventory levels
Work with VP in planning and executing Sales Meetings
Create and manage market competitive sales programs to generate revenue while ensuring PEI profitability

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of ASI industry and sales processes
Ability to negotiate best prices for PEI’s products
Skill in communicating effectively both verbally and in writing
Interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, and staff at all levels in the company
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Gmail and Google Docs
Strong presentation skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask
Detailed oriented and excellent organizational skills
Existing National Account relationships a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires the normal demands of any job, such as sitting, standing, reaching with arms and hands, walking, talking and hearing. (Domestic travel required 40 – 60% of the time and on occasion lifting sample cases.)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. ()

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Please indicate if a degree is required)

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field;
5-7 years of proven experience in Corporate/ASI apparel sales
Experience and relationships with National Accounts a plus
