About the Role:

The VP, Product Management will lead Product Management and UX across IPSY, supporting all key initiatives. Partnering closely with business and engineering management, this leader will define and execute web, mobile, and internal platform product strategy across existing and new offerings, then grow and scale those programs over time.

The VP of Product reports to our Chief Technology Officer and can be fully remote from any U.S. state that IPSY is authorized to hire (see application for complete list).

What You’ll Be Doing:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Own and evolve the multi-year product strategy across web, mobile, and internal platforms, translating IPSY’s business strategy into a clear, prioritized product point of view
  • Define where IPSY plays and how it wins: identify high-leverage opportunities, weigh build/buy/partner trade-offs, and make the call on what not to pursue
  • Serve as the connective tissue between the C-suite and the Product & UX organization, ensuring strategy drives the roadmap and roadmap execution reinforces strategy
  • Champion IPSY’s “surprise and delight” brand promise in every strategic decision

Portfolio Prioritization & Roadmap Ownership

  • Own portfolio-level prioritization across the product organization, weighing business impact, ROI, and team capacity to sequence investment across programs and platforms
  • Build and maintain a data-driven, transparent roadmap that aligns Engineering, Design, Marketing, Merchandising, and Operations around shared priorities
  • Establish product portfolio reviews and decision frameworks that give executive leadership real-time visibility into trade-offs and progress
  • Tie every roadmap bet to a clear line of business impact - revenue, retention, or margin

Customer Experience & Growth

  • Act as the authority on IPSY’s product suite and its current and future customers; own the end-to-end transaction funnel and customer journey across acquisition, activation, and retention
  • Use data, qualitative research, and experimentation (A/B testing and beyond) to validate assumptions early, reduce risk, and continuously improve conversion and lifetime value
  • Track competitive, consumer, and technology trends — including AI-enabled product experiences — to keep IPSY ahead of the market
  • Guide the user experience and design strategy, ensuring products are intuitive, engaging, and solve real user problems

Cross-Functional & Executive Leadership

  • Collaborate across the C-suite to align product strategy with company-wide priorities and growth targets
  • Build trusted relationships with functional leaders to remove execution barriers and resolve cross-functional dependencies
  • Represent Product in executive- and board-level conversations, translating strategy and portfolio health into clear, decision-ready narratives

Team & Organizational Development

  • Recruit, develop, and retain a team of product leaders and managers capable of scaling with IPSY’s growth
  • Build the frameworks, processes, and career paths that let the product organization scale efficiently as IPSY grows organically and through acquisition
  • Foster a culture of ownership, rigor, and customer obsession across the product organization

What We Are Looking For:

Education & Experience

  • 12+ years building and scaling web, mobile, and internal platform product roadmaps, ideally in consumer, e-commerce, subscription, or marketplace businesses
  • 10+ years in a senior product leadership role owning strategy for a multi-product portfolio
  • Demonstrated experience building highly scalable products that drive growth and revenue at high velocity and volume
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, Design/Human-Computer Interaction, or Economics

Strategic Leadership

  • Track record of setting and defending a product strategy, including calling out what not to build
  • Comfortable connecting product strategy to business outcomes and defending trade-offs to the C-suite and board
  • Excellent judgement and design sensibility applied to vision, roadmapping, scoping, UX, and release planning

Customer & Growth Orientation

  • Deep customer-focused mentality with a proven ability to build web, mobile, and physical product experiences that deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Fluency in conversion funnel optimization, retention, and lifetime value across subscription and e-commerce models

Data, AI & Digital Product Orientation

  • Data-driven, with a demonstrated record of establishing metrics, experimentation practices, and decision frameworks that improve product and business outcomes
  • Working knowledge of how AI and machine learning are reshaping personalization, recommendations, and product experiences in consumer and e-commerce businesses

Influence & Communication

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience managing and aligning through influence across a C-suite and cross-functional peer group
  • Skilled at translating complex product trade-offs into clear, executive-ready narratives

Execution & Change Leadership

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, treating obstacles as opportunities to build
  • Track record of building and launching successful products customers love, in both scrappy/entrepreneurial and later-stage environments
  • Seasoned player/coach, willing to roll up your sleeves where needed

What We Offer:

  • Competitive base salary & bonus program
  • Medical, dental & vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan with company match
  • Paid Time Off
  • Work from home flexibility
  • Free IPSY Extra subscription

If you believe you belong to any of the categories of protected veterans listed below, please indicate by making the appropriate selection. As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 07/31/2029

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
