Role: Information Security Engineer
Experience Bucket: 3 to 5 Years
Hiring Requirement: DevSecOps & Infrastructure Security Engineer II (Level 2)
This role is for an experienced engineer who will take ownership of designing and securing our infrastructure. You will lead key security initiatives, automate our CI/CD pipelines, and ensure our systems are robust, observable, and compliant.
Objectives of this Role:
- Design and maintain secure, high-availability infrastructure for databases and application services, with automated failover, replication, and backup strategies.
- Lead secure container registry operations, handling access control, replication, and caching strategies.
- Integrate and maintain end-to-end observability stacks for metrics, logs, and traces across all infrastructure components.
- Enforce and automate container security policies, including non-root containers, hardened base images, and continuous vulnerability scanning.
- Automate and govern CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure artifact generation, version control, and lifecycle enforcement.
- Develop and manage comprehensive dashboards and alerts for key infrastructure components like web servers, databases, and caching layers.
- Perform risk-based vulnerability severity adjustments and provide audit-ready justifications.
- Create, enforce, and automate compliance with industry-standard benchmarks and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement secure remote access, monitor VPN activity, and perform authenticated infrastructure assessments.
- Draft detailed SOPs, compliance justifications, and executive reports using clear, concise documentation standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of Linux systems, containerization, and high-availability design principles.
- Proven experience managing and monitoring production-grade databases and infrastructure components.
