Are you a hunter that excels in a metrics driven environment, sourcing and qualifying new business opportunities to drive sales growth? Pico is seeking a motivated and results driven  Business Development Representative  to join our New York team. . You will be responsible for all lead generation activities to fuel our growth in North America. Working closely with the broader Americas Sales Team and Marketing, you’ll focus on both in-bound and out-bound lead generation,  qualifying leads through cold calls, email outreach campaigns and events. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Conduct cold calls to identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Execute targeted email campaigns to engage prospects and generate meetings
  • Support sales, marketing and product led campaigns and events, including the following up on leads from industry events and conferences
  • Develop a deep understanding of Pico’s services and Products to effectively communicate value propositions to potential new customers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce including lead qualification, contacts and opportunity pipeline
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing teams to align on messaging and coordinate follow-ups
  • Schedule meetings for the Sales Team and assist in moving deals through early stages of the Sales cycle
  • Provide feedback to the wider Sales Team on market trends, prospect pain points and competitor intelligence

Education, Skills, and background: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business development role, preferably in FinTech
  • Previous experience selling into financial services or enterprise IT environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel skills critical
  • Prior experience with CRM / marketing platforms such as e.g. Salesloft, Salesforce, Hubspot, LinkedIn
  • Self-starter, team player, energetic, enthusiastic and organized
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) would be an advantage

Working Arrangements 

This is a Hybrid position with weekly time in the office with the flexibility of working from home. Though travel may be required from time to time, it is not expected to be regular or frequent. The role holder will be expected to work whatever hours are necessary for the performance of this role (recognizing that it involves multiple jurisdictions/geographies including but not limited to EMEA, USA and APAC).

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certification. 

New York Pay range

$80,000 - $90,000 USD
