Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the VP of Business Operations will lead critical cross functional programs related to growth, cost optimization, new product introduction, geo expansion, M&A and the coordination and tracking of company wide KPIs and OKRs. Through a data centric and customer focused approach the VP of Business Operations ensures the successful collaboration to execute key strategic initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner closely with our Executive Leadership Team to accelerate Ping's cross functional execution
- Collaborate with leaders and team members to analyze the business, identify critical challenges, and define and prioritize solutions
- Oversee the successful delivery of those solutions, being a champion of solving operational needs
- Oversee strategic planning processes that ensure Ping is setting the right direction across all teams, and aligned for successful execution of strategic goals
- Guide team in analyzing product performance, extracting meaningful insights, and supporting process improvements for Product Management and Engineering
- Craft presentations to communicate critical information through a variety of avenues - board meetings, companywide kickoffs, business reviews, etc.
- Lead merger and acquisition integration
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
- 60% bias towards execution with a sense of urgency. 40% strategic problem solver with significant experience in $1-2B companies
- 10+ years of relevant operational experience in consulting, strategy, operations, finance, project management
- Exceptional communications skills
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field
- Proven experience leading cross functional teams, driving towards outcomes, translating strategy to execution, delivering on initiatives and managing efficiency and expenses
- A passion for working in a cross-functional environment with an ability to work with a range of leaders and partners from across the organization
- An ability to break down problems into the most important parts, define assumptions, prioritize, drive to decision and organize to outcomes
- A passion for leveraging data to make better decisions and course correct
- Experience with financial and key metric analysis, an ability to link disparate pieces of information to understand the full problem, and explain it simply
- Executive presence and presentation experience - creating outstanding content and communicating essential information effectively
- Understanding of organizational change management - known for driving the operational and communications efforts needed to help move hearts and minds from one state to the next
- A highly collaborative approach - you partner well with others and take deep pride in shared outcomes
Salary Range: $225,000 - $275,000 + Bonus
In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
