We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join the Neo engineering team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in designing and developing responsive, high-performance web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to build intuitive, user-focused interfaces. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll help shape technical strategy, mentor junior developers, and ensure the scalability and maintainability of our front-end architecture.
You will:
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable front-end solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement user-centric features
- Ensure code quality through best practices, including code reviews, testing, and documentation
- Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, accessibility, and responsiveness
- Participate in discussions around architecture and front-end development standards across the team
- Mentor and support junior engineers through knowledge sharing and technical guidance
You have:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant technical work experience
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development with modern JavaScript frameworks (React)
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design principles
- Deep understanding of state management libraries such as Redux and scalable front-end architecture patterns
- Hands-on experience integrating RESTful APIs and working alongside backend teams
- Familiarity with source control and CI/CD tools and workflows
You have an advantage if:
- You have knowledge of Decentralized Identity (DCI) and Identity & Access Management (IAM) concepts
- You’ve worked with technologies like Kubernetes, Cassandra, Kafka, and Redis
- You’re familiar with accessibility (WCAG) and internationalization (i18n) standards
- You’ve used performance monitoring and feature-flagging tools such as New Relic and LaunchDarkly
