About this position

Responsible for leading the Digital Product Management team to create product roadmaps that align with business strategies and see those product roadmaps through to successful launch. Responsible for the continuous improvement of Plexus’s product mindset through enterprise-wide planning initiatives and reporting product development progress to executive leadership. Defines and enforces digital product management best practices and continually improves and evolves Plexus’s product mindset.

What you will do

  • Responsible for keeping up with market and industry trends and effectively translates business strategies into product strategies and roadmaps that are best in the industry and produce tangible business results.
  • Solicits Ambassador and Customer feedback and ensures that short-term enhancements and long-term needs are prioritized correctly in the product roadmaps.
  • Partners with all IT leadership to manage, prioritize, and assign all incoming requests to ensure timely delivery of all aspects of technology required for the company.
  • Partners with all business stakeholders to understand their business problems and offers user experience and technology solutions to address/resolve them.
  • Ensures that Digital Product roadmaps and enhancements are broken down into workable requirements and collaborates with the Software Development and IT QA teams to ensure that those workable requirements are delivered to specification and meet the business needs.
  • Ensures that the impact of any software and coding defects is correctly recorded and prioritized accordingly.
  • Leads, manages, and mentors the Digital Product Management team ensuring that their work is of high quality, their customer service is excellent, and their project commitments are met on time. Strives to raise the standard.
  • Maintains a high level of executive presence when presenting product delivery progress to all levels of the organization.

What you need to know

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Business with technology/process focus
  • 5+ years of Product management/product ownership experience.
  • Experience working on a cross-functional team of Digital designers, developers and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of user experience and user interface best practices across various web platforms, mobile IOS, Android, and online shopping CMS.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies in a fast-paces consumer products or technology company.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and evaluate tradeoffs.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment operating at both a strategic and tactical level.
