The Role

This position is responsible for the strategic leadership and optimization of the company’s global revenue performance engine, integrating business intelligence, advanced analytics, and incentive strategy to drive sustainable growth and field productivity. The role serves as the primary owner of the Ambassador Compensation Plan, architecting payout structures that directly influence field behavior while balancing motivation, retention, and long-term profitability. By overseeing the Business Intelligence, Sales Analytics, and Commissions departments, this position translates complex data into actionable growth strategies that shape field behavior, incentives, and global expansion initiatives. The role serves as a critical strategic partner to Sales and Marketing, among other teams, providing economic modeling and performance insights to validate business initiatives, optimize revenue outcomes, and ensure regulatory alignment across all markets. The position leverages advanced analytics and predictive insights to forecast trends, mitigate risk, and enhance revenue predictability.

Performance Accountabilities

  • Directs the strategy, design, and continuous optimization of the global Ambassador Compensation Plan to ensure it remains competitive, motivating, and aligned with organizational revenue and profitability goals.
  • Leads the financial modeling of all field payouts, monitoring the balance between Ambassador success and company margin performance within defined financial guardrails.
  • Provides executive oversight of the Commissions department, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of all global field payments.
  • Partners with Sales and Marketing to design and evaluate incentive programs, promotions, and contests – optimizing for engagement, revenue impact, and margin protection
  • Leads the vision for the company’s data architecture and reporting frameworks, ensuring the executive team has access to real-time, high-integrity dashboards and predictive insights.
  • Drives the use of advanced analytics, including predictive techniques, to improve forecasting accuracy across recruitment, retention, churn and revenue trends.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for Legal and Compliance teams to ensure the compensation plan and all field incentives adhere to FTC, DSA, and international regulatory standards.
  • Drives international expansion efforts by adapting compensation logic and reporting for international markets, accounting for currency fluctuations, local tax requirements, and regional business behaviors.
  • Acts as a key advisor to the Chief Strategy Officer and the broader executive team, utilizing data to identify market opportunities, operational gaps, and strategic risks.
  • Provides strategic direction and professional development for the BI, Sales Analytics and Commissions teams, fostering a culture of extreme accuracy, technical innovation, and accountability
  • Ability to work off-hours with occasional evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Performance Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or applicable area or equivalent related experience.
  • 5 years as Director or above and 12 years leading teams.
  • Extensive experience in leading business intelligence or analytics function, specifically within the direct selling or recurring revenue industries.
  • Proven track record in designing, modeling, and managing complex commission structures and multi-level compensation plans.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), SQL, and statistical modeling, with the ability to engage in data architecture when necessary.
  • Strong understanding of P&L management, margin protection, and the economic drivers of an independent sales force.
  • Ability to partner effectively with Sales, Marketing, and other teams with data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Familiarity with FTC guidelines and global direct selling regulations regarding income claims and compensation structures.
  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, to address business challenges such as churn reduction or lifetime value (LTV) optimization.
  • Exceptional skill in translating complex data sets and economic models into clear, strategic narratives for C-Suite and Board-level presentations.
