The Role:

We are seeking a Data Engineer with data and software engineering skills to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. This role will focus on enabling reliable, high-quality data delivery to power analytics, machine learning, and operational use cases. You will collaborate closely with engineers, analytics engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure our data ecosystem is efficient, reliable, secure, and aligned with business goals.

What you will be doing:

• Work with Snowflake, Fivetran, and dbt to ensure clean, modeled, and well-documented data.
• Support the infrastructure that generates key insights that support our business
• Write production-grade code (Python or Elixir) to support data processing, automation, and integrations
• Contribute to architectural decisions for data systems and platforms.
• Work with distributed cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
• Monitor and optimize data infrastructure to improve scalability, cost-efficiency, and resilience.
• Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines.
• Partner with stakeholders to ensure data ingeston, reliability, performance, and accessibility.

What you should have:

• 2+ years of work experience SQL and experience with multiple flavors
• 2+ years of work experience with a scripting language (Python preferred)
• Experience with Snowflake, Postgres
• ETL Experience (DBT, Fivetran, Sigma)
• Degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Information Systems, or equivalent hands-on job experience with data engineering or software engineering

• Strong drive to organize and document data in a reproducible manner
• Ability to understand the business logic for structuring data in a given way while also understanding and overcoming the technical limitations and challenges of implementing the desired data structure
• Eagerness to work on the development of internal tools, systems, packages, processes, and documentation
• You have a proven record of providing analyses that have a tangible impact on the business
