The Opportunity

Postman is in search of a dynamic Campaign Operations Manager to join our high-energy marketing team. You will collaborate closely with our team of demand generation and field marketing colleagues to ensure the successful implementation of multi-touch marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of marketing operations, with a focus on email and event marketing. You will collaborate with team members to develop and execute marketing campaigns, taking charge of the day-to-day execution of our email communications and lead capture programs. This role thrives on collaboration, working across the Marketing department to streamline operational tasks and ensure the efficient functioning of all marketing campaign initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate project requirements and build out programs using our marketing automation platform (Marketo).
  • Build and execute campaigns supporting lead capture, nurture, scoring, event promotion, and content marketing.
  • Understand data flow and troubleshoot various automation flows.
  • Support the demand generation team with hands-on tasks such as email builds/sends, landing pages, dynamic content, list imports, segmentation, enrichment, and multi-tool orchestration.
  • Foster cross-functional relationships between marketing and sales to meet operational needs within defined SLAs.
  • Operate autonomously with a commitment to high quality and integrity.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing automation or marketing operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing automation and inbound/outbound best practices.
  • Proficiency with HTML emails and templates.
  • Experience with email marketing (Marketo certification a plus), SFDC (high proficiency with Salesforce preferred), and related platform integrations (e.g., GoToWebinar, Zoom, Goldcast, CMS, attribution tools, etc.).
  • Technical aptitude: Experience with highly complex processes and a large MarTech stack; ability to understand technologies and leverage them for desired results.
  • Cross-functional team player capable of driving campaign execution across multiple teams.
  • Data-driven with a continuous learning mindset, always researching new strategies and techniques to improve programs.
  • Strong collaborator who actively seeks cross-functional feedback and input to build comprehensive strategies.
  • Thoughtful problem-solving tendencies with initiative and ownership focus on continuous improvement.

What Else?

This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a reasonably estimated salary range of $130,000 to $150,000+, plus a competitive equity package. Compensation is based on your skills, qualifications, and experience. In addition to our pay-for-performance philosophy, we offer comprehensive benefits, including full medical coverage, flexible PTO, and wellness reimbursement. Salaries will vary outside of the listed metropolitan areas & the U.S.
