The Opportunity
With Postman Insights, our vision is to help all developers more quickly find and fix production issues. Insights reduces mean time to resolution for incidents and API bugs by making it easier to identify, root cause, and reproduce incidents. The Insights agent watches all API traffic at the network, using AI to automatically discover API endpoints and integrating with Postman’s Request Builder to support seamless replay of API errors across environments.
As we build towards GA, we are looking for an experienced engineer to drive scaling efforts for our solution. Today, we run a system built on top of a time-series database that processes billions of requests a week on our dogfooding data alone. As our product matures and we roll out to more users, it will be important to continue improving latency, reliability, and scale, all without disrupting service to existing users. We’re looking for a pragmatic leader with experience handling large amounts of streaming data.
