The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and highly driven individual to join the Revenue Operations team at Postman. The Senior Salesforce Administrator role reports into the Salesforce Manager. The Revenue Operations team is integral to the success of the Go-To-Market organization by helping to drive revenue and productivity across different teams.
What You’ll Do
- Platform Ownership: Oversee the overall Salesforce platform to ensure stability, scalability, and optimal performance.
- Solution Design: Design, develop, and customize Salesforce solutions to meet evolving business and technical requirements.
- CPQ: Responsible for designing, configuring, and managing Salesforce CPQ — including product rules, pricing, quote templates, and advanced approval workflows. Collaborates with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to enhance the CPQ lifecycle. Troubleshoots and resolves CPQ issues related to pricing logic, product setup, and quote generation. Continuously monitors system performance and recommends improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaboration: Partner on key projects to determine business alignment, needs, and system requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the Salesforce subject matter expert, responsible for configuration, development, integrations, and customizations.
- Process & Documentation: Curate and maintain clear, scalable process documentation and policies across all Salesforce-related workflows within the Postman Salesforce org.
- Integrations: Manage and enhance integrations between Salesforce and other GTM systems (e.g., Ringlead, CLM).
- Data Governance: Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across Salesforce through strong governance and best practices.
- Automation: Build and optimize automations using Flow and validation rules to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
- User Enablement: Assist with delivering training on all processes, policies, and best practices within the Postman Salesforce Instance.
- Testing & Change Management: Unit/Regression and User Acceptance testing and change management tools.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate current configurations and processes to recommend enhancements for long-term sustainability.
- Security & Access Management: Manage user roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules to maintain proper access controls.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce Administrator role
- Salesforce Administrator Certification
- Extensive experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, and Salesforce reporting and dashboards
- Experience with unit/regression testing and release management of modifications/updates between environment instances
- Experience in requirement gathering, requirement analysis, design, and implementation of Salesforce projects/enhancements
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to support users effectively
- Ability to stay current with Salesforce updates and provide strategic recommendations
- Strong project management skills with experience in system implementation projects
- Superior communication skills with business stakeholders and leadership
- Experience in an agile based environment
- Proficiency in managing user roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules
- Strong expertise in flow automation
- Strong ability to evaluate 3rd party integrations and how they will impact overall system performance
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to execute with minimal guidance
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Nice to Have
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
- CPQ Specialist Certification
- Two years of experience using Agile methodologies
The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $110,000-130,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
