The Role: 

Ready to bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery? As an Agile Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in driving collaboration across stakeholders, developers, and the product manager to deliver customer-focused solutions. Your ability to facilitate clear, open communication will empower the development team to meet and exceed customer expectations. If you thrive in agile environments and have a passion for turning business insights into impactful outcomes, this role is for you. Experience in fast-paced, customer-centric teams is a plus.

What You'll Be Doing:

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the business on high quality solutions, including the Product team and Tech team stakeholders to lead and facilitate business requirements elicitation, ensuring high quality and suitable coverage.
• Engage with end users and subject matter experts to identify, develop, document, validate and endorse the requirements (both business, functional and non-functional requirements).
• Deliver business solution requirements or user stories, producing the relevant artefacts to ensure traceability 
• Consult with the business and product managers to prioritise and shape the product backlog, using Agile practices for prioritisation around business value.
• Work with product managers and other stakeholders to develop delivery plans, as required.
• Analysing business platforms, systems, processes and structures to properly articulate issues and opportunities and validate solutions with reference to the appropriate context
• Review and provide inputs to UAT test cases to ensure design integrity with functional business requirements. 

Change, Communication and Reporting

• Support the development team in ensuring that the acceptance criteria and definition of done is satisfied via the UAT and QA processes. 
• Be responsible for providing multi-disciplinary teams with user stories to define the business-driven acceptance criteria. 
• Consult with and advise product managers when defining product release content and timelines, applying product development principles, innovative thinking and a focus on the customer.
• Assist with the elaboration and decomposition of user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria, supporting team members with their work where required.
• Participate in and facilitate relevant Agile ceremonies: Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Showcases / Sprint Review, Retrospective.
• Collaborate with team members and other stakeholders to ensure strong relationships are maintained and business and technology requirements and solutions are understood.
• Communicate business context and business processes to enable partner and customer activity.

Planning and Delivery

• Apply agile frameworks, techniques and processes and overlay agile reporting and governance to deliver incremental value to areas of responsibility.
• Prioritising and elaborating solution requirements in a progressive way leading to delivery of iterative solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise in specific functional area(s) for the assigned squad
• Ensure the requirements you produce (stories or otherwise) conform to the Definition of Ready, resulting in them being clearly documented to ensure clarity as to what is expected from the development team 
• Utilise Lean Principles that ensure effective delivery of value to customers. Consider and apply process efficiencies within the sphere of influence, eliminating waste and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement
• Apply Design Thinking ensuring solutions address customer needs and are viable and feasible for the business.
• Provide functional design input to integration design and maintenance requirements.
• Advise on the consistent use of, and adherence to, operational policies, standards, tools and processes to ensure consistent application maintenance and fulfilment of regulatory obligations.
• Provide high-level technical expertise to business stakeholders to support relevant partner organisations and business stakeholders.
• Deliver internal training for new features to team members and end-users by identifying needs, preparing materials and delivery as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Core Skills:

• Experience in transforming a business as it scales and grows, ideally having had some experience in a fast growth fin-tech Company (or both). High level payments experience would be an additional bonus.
• Exceptional leadership skills, with proven experience and team culture success.
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing.
• Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualisation techniques and tools.
• Solid experience ‘Agile’ methodologies and experience working with developers.
• Solid knowledge in generating process documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
