Tax Manager

Prezzee is expanding fast. As our global footprint grows, so do our tax and regulatory obligations. We're looking for a hands-on Tax Manager to own our tax function and help build scalable, compliant frameworks for the future.

This is a part-time role (3 days per week equivalent), with flexibility around how those hours are structured. We’re open to hiring a permanent 3 days a week Tax Manager, or part-time contractor, depending on experience and availability to commence.

This role presents a clear opportunity to lead and deliver several priority tax and regulatory projects as Prezzee continues to scale, such as our global income tax filings, new transfer pricing scheme design and implementation, and new international market assessments. You'll be empowered to own these deliverables end-to-end, with full support from our leadership and external partners.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll be the go-to expert for tax and non-IFRS regulatory matters, supporting our local and international operations and partnering with top-tier advisors. You’ll take ownership of day-to-day compliance while shaping how we approach tax and regulation as we scale.

What You’ll Be Doing

Tax Compliance & Advisory

• Oversee accurate and timely filings across multiple global jurisdictions (Australia, US, UK, Canada, NZ, Ireland and France).
  
  
• Manage global tax advisors and support local finance teams.
  
  
• Lead the implementation and maintenance of our global transfer pricing policy in partnership with Big 4 and external advisors.
  
  
• Maintain and update our global tax risk and compliance register.
  
  

Regulatory Coordination

• Map and manage non-IFRS regulatory obligations with legal and accounting partners.
  
  
• Establish governance controls to ensure filings are accurate, timely, and auditable.
  
  
• Support legal structuring and intercompany arrangements for new products and markets.
  
  

Current Focus Areas

• Deliver transfer pricing design and implementation as the precursor to income tax return filings across five countries in partnership with Big 4 and local tax firms.
• Manage the Australian R&D tax incentive in partnership with Big 4 accounting firms.
• Close out the design and implementation of Prezzee’s next ESOP in partnership with Big 4 accounting firms.
• Support GTS/VAT assessments globally, including for new revenue streams in France and Ireland.
  Assess obligations in new expansion markets.
• Set up and review intercompany arrangements in line with our transfer pricing framework.
  
  

Process Improvement & Risk Management

• Build scalable, fit-for-purpose processes and controls.
  
  

• Track and report on global tax and regulatory deadlines and risks.
  
  
• Lead ad hoc tax reviews (e.g. strategic partner contracts or expansion activity).
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• BBus in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  
  
• CA or CPA qualified.
  
  
• Experience in a fast-growing, global business.
  
  
• Skilled at working with external advisors and cross-functional teams.
  
  
• Clear communicator with strong organisational and reporting skills.
  
  
• Comfortable working independently and owning outcomes.
