We’re looking for a highly entrepreneurial Country Manager (m/f/d) to lead and build the German market for one of our Ecosystem companies.

As Country Manager, you will act as the founder-level owner of the German market, responsible for establishing market presence, building trust and traction, and scaling the local team from zero to one. You will work closely with the founders and senior leadership to translate global strategy into local execution - while owning outcomes end to end.

Join the A11 Ecosystem: Our Ecosystem company is a fast-growing legal tech company building AI software that helps law firms research, analyse and draft legal work faster and more reliably, with verifiable sources at its core.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Own Germany end-to-end, from market entry and positioning to first traction and a repeatable go-to-market motion
  • Be the senior local face of the company, establishing trust and credibility in the German legal market through presence, partnerships, and narrative
  • Drive early commercial traction personally, validating pricing, messaging and sales motion before scaling the team
  • Build the organization, hiring and developing the first German team while embedding an entrepreneurial, extra-mile culture
  • Translate market insight into execution, owning structured feedback loops across customers, partners, and product
  • Partner closely with founders and central teams, shaping strategy while retaining full accountability for local outcomes

Your Profile: 

  • Proven strength in owning sales and commercial outcomes end-to-end, from positioning and pipeline creation to closing first deals and building a repeatable sales motion
  • Experience in building or scaling a team, new market, or country operation, ideally in B2B SaaS
  • Hands-on mindset with the discipline to prove traction personally before scaling through a team
  • Strong judgment in hiring and developing small, high-ownership teams, setting culture through behavior rather than process
  • Ability to structure market and customer feedback into clear decisions for product, pricing and go-to-market
  • Track record of earning trust with senior stakeholders
  • Founder-level operating style, combining ownership, speed and resilience with accountability for outcomes.
  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate credibly across senior audiences
  • Bonus: experience working with law firms, legal teams or other regulated industries

Please note that this position is based in Berlin or Munich.
