Pure is seeking a Project Manager to support the Enterprise Transformation Office. The Project Manager role is a strategic position responsible for shaping and guiding special projects that drive go-to-market initiatives across alliances, financing, solutions, GSIs (Global System Integrators), and industry verticals. In this role, you will set the strategic direction for key projects, aligning them with broader business objectives and growth strategies. You will lead cross-functional teams in the development and execution of high-impact initiatives, ensuring resources are optimized, risks are mitigated, and milestones are met. With a focus on strategic thinking and direction-setting, this role is pivotal in steering complex programs that enhance market positioning and foster long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Direction: Define and drive the strategic direction for go-to-market projects, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and market expansion efforts across alliances, financing, solutions, GSIs, and industry verticals.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, managing project scopes, timelines, and resources to ensure successful execution and delivery of high-impact initiatives.
- Risk & Stakeholder Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic priorities.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) is preferred.
- Proven Experience: 7+ years of experience in project management, program management, or PMO roles, preferably within the technology sector, with a focus on go-to-market or business strategy initiatives.
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to set strategic direction for complex projects and align them with overarching business objectives.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Experience leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and finance, to drive large-scale initiatives to successful completion.
- Project Management Expertise: Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) with a strong track record of managing multiple high-impact projects simultaneously.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risks, develop mitigation plans, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and navigate complex organizational structures.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with technology products, solutions, and industry trends, with an understanding of how they impact go-to-market strategies.
- Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, or similar project management certifications preferred.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $145,000– $218,000
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
