Pure Storage is seeking a Sourcing Manager to join our Corporate Sourcing & Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that optimize supplier performance, reduce costs, and enhance product quality and supply chain resilience. You will partner with key business units—including Marketing, Sales and CX—to drive strategic sourcing initiatives and optimize spend.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING...
- Global Supplier Relationship Management: Own and manage relationships with key global suppliers through Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), including business reviews and scorecards for our Sales and Marketing teams.
- Preferred Supplier Program: Build and maintain strong relationships with preferred suppliers to foster collaboration, secure consistent supply, and improve performance. Manage supplier performance through evaluations, KPIs, and feedback while driving compliance through RFP and benchmarking strategies.
- Application Rationalization: Develop and implement sourcing strategies, including app rationalization and consolidation, to achieve cost reductions, quality improvements, and supplier optimization.
- Contract Negotiation & Risk Mitigation: Enhance spend coverage by negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to secure optimal terms and minimize risk. Ensure all agreements align with legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
- Sourcing Analytics & Reporting: Leverage data analytics to monitor and report on key sourcing metrics, track cost savings, and identify trends. Provide actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic adjustments.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or a related supply chain function.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with experience in supplier negotiations, cost management, and contract evaluation.
- Comfortable presenting to executives and explaining complex contractual obligations.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- The annual base salary range is: $69,000 - $105,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
