SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
The Commercial LoB objective is to optimize Pure across every function for maximum velocity and efficiency in commercial and SLED markets. The cLoB Field Business Development organization will drive increased annual growth, and revenue per AE through a combination of ownership and influence with the cross functional team aligned with their focus regions/segments.
As the regional Field Business Development Manager you will…
- Drive the success of sales and partner programs developed by the Commercial LoB with Pure field sales, reseller and alliance partners.
- Deliver regional training/enablement programs to improve the capabilities of the field sales team and partners.
- Act as a liaison to RSDs, DMs, Partner Account Managers (PAMs) and SE leadership.
- Lead through influence with the cross functional Pure Storage team, reseller and alliance partners aligned to your region.
- Help collect field feedback for the Commercial LoB to optimize product and solutions offerings, competitive intelligence programs and pricing structures optimized for Commercial and SLED buyers, with an increased focus on the corporate account segment.
- Closely manage and enable the region’s performance related KPIs including pipeline growth, partner leverage and successful program rollouts.
- Accountable for successful execution of regional business plan, and delivering on key sales targets (KPIs).
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
- 4+ years successful field sales experience in core Information Technology infrastructure in a highly competitive environment. Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is required.
- Passionate and persuasive. Exemplifies exceptional communication and influencing skills.
- Understanding of, and experience working with, the technology partner ecosystem (resellers, alliances, and distributors)
- Strong written and verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organized, detail and process oriented
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in identifying root causality and problem solving
- Ability to use CRM and other online tools effectively
- BA/BS and/or equivalent industry field experience required
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Chicago office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
The annual base salary range is: $118,000-206,000.
Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
