About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to drive global execution across manufacturing, remanufacturing, and reverse logistics activities. In this highly collaborative role, you will be responsible for ensuring operational readiness, execution excellence, and supply continuity while managing escalations, risk mitigation, and planning activities across our Contract Manufacturer (CM) network.
You will partner closely with internal cross-functional teams, including NPI, Quality, Test, Engineering, Planning, and Logistics—as well as external suppliers and CMs, to support both new product introduction (NPI) and sustaining operations. A strong focus on remanufacturing, reverse logistics, and RMA process management will be critical to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the end-to-end supply chain execution for both production and remanufacturing activities, ensuring continuity of supply to meet revenue and operational targets.
- Lead escalation management for manufacturing, RMA, and logistics issues, ensuring rapid resolution and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage remanufacturing workflows, reverse logistics programs, and returns processing in partnership with contract manufacturers, prioritizing compliance, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
- Support NPI activities, including planning for capacity, materials readiness, clear-to-build milestones, and smooth ramp to production.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks across supply chain, manufacturing, and reverse logistics processes.
- Lead material planning and forecast execution to ensure supply continuity and minimal excess or obsolete inventory.
- Partner with CMs to drive operational excellence, including KPIs related to yield, on-time delivery, inventory management, RMA resolution cycle time, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Monitor and drive performance improvement programs with suppliers, including cost, quality, compliance, and serviceability metrics.
- Collaborate with logistics and trade compliance teams to ensure global shipment readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and document best practices across manufacturing and remanufacturing operations.
- Act as the key point of contact for supply chain execution activities, escalation management, and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, manufacturing operations, remanufacturing, or reverse logistics.
- Proven experience in RMA processes, escalation management, NPI execution, and supply chain planning/forecasting.
- Strong background in contract manufacturing and operational leadership, with a focus on both production and reverse supply chain activities.
- Solid understanding of global logistics, trade compliance, inventory control, and ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Kinaxis, or similar).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills across global teams.
- Ability to drive operational improvements, risk mitigation, and process optimization initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the {{OFFICE_LOCATION}} office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
