MTS - Java / Golang / Python - VIFA
We’re in an unbelievably exciting area of tech and are fundamentally reshaping the data storage industry. Here, you lead with innovative thinking, grow along with us, and join the smartest team in the industry.
This type of work—work that changes the world—is what the tech industry was founded on. So, if you're ready to seize the endless opportunities and leave your mark, come join us.
THE ROLE
As a Member of Technical Staff, you will architect the bridge between Pure Storage’s industry-leading hardware and the modern virtualization ecosystem. You’ll join a high-impact team in Bangalore dedicated to building native, enterprise-grade storage automation for Kubernetes, Nutanix, and OpenStack from the ground up. This isn't just about maintaining integrations; it's about engineering the "glue" that allows mission-critical cloud-native workloads to scale seamlessly across global data centers. You will collaborate closely with world-class engineers in Santa Clara and beyond to redefine how the world consumes automated, high-performance storage.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
-
Engineer Cloud-Native Foundations: Design and implement robust storage provisioning features within the Kubernetes (OpenShift), OpenStack, or Nutanix stacks, ensuring FlashArray and FlashBlade deliver seamless mobility for containerized applications.
-
Own the Full Lifecycle: Take end-to-end accountability for feature health by writing high-quality production code alongside comprehensive test automation, ensuring every deployment meets the rigorous uptime standards of enterprise customers.
-
Scale Distributed Systems: Solve complex architectural challenges and debug intricate issues across distributed environments to optimize the performance of the Pure Integration Controller and CSI ecosystem.
-
Drive Engineering Excellence: Influence technical direction through active participation in design reviews and cross-geographic collaborations, translating high-level business requirements into scalable, maintainable software architectures.
WHAT YOU BRING
-
Polyglot Programming Expertise: Advanced proficiency in at least two core languages—Go, Java, or Python—with a proven ability to write clean, concurrent, and highly testable code for complex systems.
-
Infrastructure & Systems Fluency: A deep understanding of Linux internals and a track record of developing software that interacts directly with virtualization platforms or container orchestration layers.
-
Automated Quality Mindset: Significant experience building both the logic and the validation frameworks for your own features, demonstrating a "built-in quality" approach to software craftsmanship.
-
Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore, India office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US:
- Innovation: We celebrate those who think critically, like a challenge, and aspire to be trailblazers.
- Growth: We give you the space and support to grow along with us and to contribute to something meaningful. We have been named Fortune's Best Workplaces in Technology™, Fortune's Best Workplaces in the Bay Area™, and certified as a Great Place to Work®!
