THE ROLE
We are seeking a Principal Product Manager, AI – Commerce Platform to define and lead the next generation of AI-native commerce experiences for our sellers, partners, and customers. This role owns the strategy, development, and scaling of intelligent systems that translate complex, ambiguous user intent into precise, high-confidence commercial outcomes.
You will operate at the intersection of AI, configuration, pricing, and revenue systems — evolving traditional rule-based commerce flows into adaptive, learning systems powered by modern AI.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Define and execute the long-term strategy for AI-powered commerce and configuration systems
- Lead 0→1 development of intelligent recommendation and decision-support products
- Partner with Engineering, Data Science, and UX to ship production-grade AI solution
- Define detailed product requirements and partner with developers on a release plan
- Collaborate with UX and the technology team to develop, test, and deliver product requirements and wireframes to engineering
- Design hybrid AI + deterministic system architectures that integrate with pricing, configuration, and quote-to-cash platforms
- Establish evaluation frameworks, validation datasets, and model governance standards
- Tie AI initiatives directly to measurable business outcomes (revenue lift, margin optimization, conversion, cycle time)
- Drive experimentation, iteration, and continuous learning loops
- Operationalize AI innovations for long term sustainability and success
- Drive usability and adoption through close partnership with business stakeholders
- Influence executive stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around AI transformation initiatives
- Own the measures used to define success for your product capability. Success metrics must be defined at the inception and tracked throughout its lifecycle. Make metrics visible to stakeholders
- Mentor and elevate other product managers working on AI-enabled products
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave
WHAT YOU BRING
- 10+ years of product management experience, including ownership of complex enterprise platforms.
- Proven experience launching AI/ML-powered products from concept through scale.
- Proven experience in prompt engineering
- Strong understanding of large language models, prompt strategy, and AI system evaluation.
- Experience in wireframing and prototyping for iterative build of applications
- Experience building hybrid systems that combine AI reasoning with structured business logic.
- Background in commerce systems such as CRM, CPQ, pricing engines, configuration systems, or quote-to-cash workflows strongly preferred
- Proven ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners and to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a complex, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to connect product strategy to revenue and margin impact.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience running experiments and defining success metrics.
- Exceptional communication skills and executive presence.
