THE ROLE
As an IT Endpoint Specialist, you will be the technical guardian of Everpure’s end-user ecosystem being part of the bigger Digital Workplace and Identity team, ensuring a high-performance and secure experience for approximately 7,000 endpoints globally. You will join a mission-critical IT team tasked with managing a diverse fleet of Mac, Windows, and Linux systems, as well as Amazon Workspace VDIs. Reporting to the IT Endpoint Manager, you will quickly become a subject matter expert, moving beyond basic support to architect build scripts, automate mass rollouts, and collaborate with SecOps to define the future of our endpoint security and compliance, using Agile framework for capabilities delivery and ITIL for continuous improvement and support.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Orchestrate Global Fleet Management: Oversee the lifecycle, monthly patching cadence, and major OS rollouts for ~7k endpoints across Mac, Windows, and Linux platforms to ensure 100% compliance and stability.
- Automate at Scale: Design and maintain advanced build scripts and automation workflows using PowerShell, Shell, and Python to streamline zero-touch deployments and mass application distributions.
- Manage Virtual & Mobile Ecosystems: Direct the administration of Amazon Workspace VDIs and global BYOD initiatives, leveraging VMware Workspace ONE, JAMF Pro, Google Workspace to ensure seamless access and security.
- Fortify Endpoint Security: Partner with SecOps to implement endpoint security controls, manage digital certificates, and integrate Splunk with WS1/JAMF for advanced auditing and real-time risk reporting.
- Enable Global Support Teams: Create comprehensive architectural documentation and SOPs, conducting specialized training for globally distributed support teams to elevate the standard of technical troubleshooting.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Deep Tooling Expertise: 6+ years of advanced administration in VMware Workspace ONE (WS1) and JAMF Pro, with a specialized focus on Mac OS and Windows (10/11) features , AWS Workspace updates as well as Linux Ubuntu workstation management.
- Automation Mastery: Expert proficiency in utilizing PowerShell, Shell scripting, or Python to automate manual processes and execute complex, zero-touch deployment workflows.
- VDI & Security Acumen: Proven experience managing Amazon Workspace VDI environments and integrating endpoint tools with Splunk for custom reporting and compliance auditing.
- Strategic Communication: Ability to document complex architectures, lead cross-functional initiatives, and collaborate with US and EMEA-based global teams outside of local business hours.
- Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
