THE ROLE 

You will lead a high-impact engineering team in Prague dedicated to Everpure Cloud, the cornerstone of Everpure’s hybrid cloud and cloud-native strategy. Your mission is to scale enterprise-grade data services natively on AWS and Azure, ensuring seamless storage agility for global innovators. By partnering with Product Management, Sales and Account teams, you will transform complex distributed systems challenges into reliable, production-ready cloud software fully owned by Prague teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Lead and grow a high‑performing engineering team building the data layer and cloud‑native services for Everpure Cloud, fostering a culture of ownership, inclusion, and continuous improvement. Coach and develop engineers through regular feedback, clear expectations, and career development opportunities, helping senior and mid‑level engineers take on broader ownership and leadership.
• Own the roadmap and execution for key Everpure Cloud components (e.g., orchestration, lifecycle/upgrade flows, capacity and performance management, DR‑related workflows) in close partnership with product management and technical leadership.
• Guide technical design and trade‑offs in areas such as distributed systems, storage, networking, and cloud services, ensuring solutions are robust, observable, and cost‑effective.
• Collaborate across Everpure with peer engineering teams, architecture, product, support, and customer‑facing groups to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and ensure Everpure Cloud Dedicated delivers a seamless customer experience in hybrid environments.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Engineering Leadership: Proven experience leading software engineering teams through the delivery of complex, distributed production systems. You have a track record of coaching engineers, setting clear performance expectations, and fostering healthy, high-growth team environments.
• Technical Acumen: A strong foundation in distributed systems, storage, or high-availability services preferred. You possess the technical depth to guide design trade-offs and have a background in hands-on development for large-scale production environments.
• Cloud Native Expertise (nice to have): Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure) and modern orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and containers. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (like Terraform or Bicep) to build and operate resilient microservices.
• Strategic Execution: Ability to translate high-level product vision into actionable technical roadmaps. You are skilled at balancing feature delivery with a relentless focus on security, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborative Communication: Excellence in navigating cross-functional partnerships and influencing technical direction across global time zones. You can effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to executive leadership.

We are primarily an in‑office environment, and you will be expected to work from the Prague office in line with Pure’s policies, except when on approved leave, work travel, or PTO.
