About Your Role
Our IT Systems Administrator will support our internal teams; they will be responsible for software, hardware, network support, troubleshooting, and the advancement of the systems and applications for our business units. They will support our managers and employees through training, updates, and continuous learnings of their applicable programs. Our IT Systems Administrator II will work with applications like Google Workspace, Jamf, Okta, Zoom and various other applications utilized by our teams.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Knowledge of and technical expertise supporting Apple products.
- Works independently and exercises reasonable judgment with little supervision while providing clear documentation of activities and accomplishments.
- Manage standard deployment or implementation of hardware/software solutions.
- Passion for technology, teamwork, overcoming challenges and providing exceptional customer service.
- Responds to user requests for service and determines nature and extent of support needed and installs, administers, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of software used throughout the operation.
- Performs hardware/software upgrades to existing computer equipment as needed.
- Trains users in aligned departments as needed in startup, basic and advanced use of software programs including Google Workspace, Apple Laptops, and mobile devices.
- Standard software and a working knowledge of a wide variety of commonly used hardware and software used by aligned departments.
- Assists in evaluation and testing of computer software and in planning for future needs.
- On-boarding and off-boarding of employees regarding equipment, accounts, and tracking of such tasks.
- Maintain current and accurate inventory for all IT assets.
- Basic understanding of networking and routing protocols.
- Passion for technology, teamwork, overcoming challenges and providing exceptional customer service.
- Constantly update job knowledge.
- Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position.
Who You Are
- Requires special technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software, hardware, and network support for multiple users.
- Must understand installation, configuration, and troubleshooting processes for software, hardware, networking, and accessory equipment.
- Requires sufficient analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and develop solutions.
- Ability and willingness to solve problems independently, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate on projects.
Experience You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in IT or related field
- Bachelors degree
