Location & Remote Work for technology and remote-first roles

Our technology team operates under a "remote-first" model, which means we work from home and can live anywhere in Brazil. We also offer the option of working from our São Paulo offices or partner coworking spaces, up to twice a week.

About the area:

We are looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect with deep technical expertise in the Salesforce platform and strong hands-on development experience.

This role will lead the technical architecture and evolution of our Salesforce platform, ensuring scalable and high-quality implementations across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering skills with architectural leadership, being able to design complex solutions, contribute directly to development when needed, and guide both internal teams and external consulting partners.

This person will play a key role in ensuring the platform is scalable, maintainable, secure and aligned with Salesforce best practices, while enabling the business to grow efficiently.

Responsabilities: 

Platform Architecture

  • Design scalable and maintainable architecture for Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

  • Define and enforce architectural standards, design patterns and best practices

  • Lead the design of complex solutions including data models, integrations and automation

  • Review and approve technical designs before implementation

  • Ensure solutions respect Salesforce governor limits, performance constraints and scalability requirements

  • Identify and mitigate technical risks in platform implementations

    Hands-on Development

    • Actively contribute to development of complex platform components when needed

    • Design and implement solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce platform capabilities

    • Develop backend logic using Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, queueables and scheduled processes

    • Build modern UI components using Lightning Web Components

    • Implement integrations using REST APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials and external services

    • Participate in code reviews and pull request approvals to ensure code quality and maintainability

    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the platform

    • Support the development of automation using Flow and platform-native tools

    • Guide developers on governor limits, performance optimization and scalable development patterns

    • Contribute to the implementation of robust testing strategies, including unit tests and automated testing

    • Support complex data migrations and data model implementations


    Development Lifecycle & DevOps

    • Define and maintain Salesforce development lifecycle standards

    • Improve and support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

    • Promote strong engineering practices including:

      • Git-based version control

      • Pull request workflows

      • Branching strategies

      • Automated testing

    • Support release management and environment strategy across sandbox environments

    • Ensure deployments follow a secure and reliable release process


    Vendor & Consulting Governance

    • Provide technical leadership for external Salesforce consulting partners

    • Review solution proposals and architecture from consulting vendors

    • Ensure implementations delivered by partners follow internal architecture standards

    • Guide external teams on platform best practices

    • Act as the technical authority for Salesforce platform decisions


    Platform Governance

    • Establish and maintain Salesforce platform governance standards

    • Ensure implementations follow security, performance and compliance best practices

    • Monitor platform health, performance and technical debt

    • Recommend improvements in architecture, configuration and code quality

    • Drive initiatives to improve platform maintainability and scalability


    Cross-team Collaboration

    • Work closely with Product Managers, Business Operations and Engineering teams

    • Participate in discovery phases and translate business requirements into technical solutions

    • Support prioritization discussions with technical feasibility assessments

    • Mentor developers, admins and analysts working on the Salesforce platform

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Experience with development on the Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL).
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, or Community Cloud.
  • Experience with system integration via REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Experience with queue systems (SQS, Kafka, etc.).
  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience with deployment and DevOps in Salesforce (SFDX, CI/CD, Change Sets, Metadata API).
  • Technical English for reading and writing.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and knowledge in English - we usually use English to write our code, documentation, tools, reference materials and eventually talk to partners and co-workers from other countries.

You'll stand out if you:

  • Have Salesforce certifications (Admin, Platform Developer I/II, App Builder).
  • Experience with MuleSoft, Tableau CRM, or other tools within the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, Java, or other languages supporting integrations.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
