It is a very exciting time of growth for our Customer Excellence team, and we are currently hiring a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Solution Architect.  

What will this role entail?

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) Solution Architect with deep expertise in Finance and Project Accounting to join our team. In this role, you will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of comprehensive D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) solutions that align with our clients' business needs. This position may require travel up to 50% to collaborate onsite with clients and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture and design for D365 Finance & Operations implementations, with a focus on Finance and Project Accounting modules.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and design solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Guide the configuration, customization, and integration of D365 F&O Finance modules, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, and Project Accounting.
  • Define and document solution architectures, data models, and integration designs with other business systems and third-party applications.
  • Provide strategic guidance and best practices around D365 capabilities, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance.
  • Lead functional and technical workshops, solution design sessions, and system demonstrations.
  • Collaborate with developers, consultants, and project managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions within budget and timelines.
  • Support pre-sales activities including solution envisioning, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Stay current with Microsoft D365 product roadmaps, features, and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), with a strong focus on Finance and Project Accounting modules.
  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant in D365 implementations, particularly in complex, multi-entity, and project-based environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance business processes and accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS, etc.).
  • Experience integrating D365 with other enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, reporting tools, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) and Azure integration services.
  • Experience in industries such as professional services, construction, or engineering (project-based businesses).
  • Experience leading global implementations or multi-country rollouts.
