About the Role:
TripArc is seeking a Senior UX Designer to help shape the future of our B2B travel platforms. Our products power the day-to-day work of Destination Experts, Travel Advisors, and global DMC partners, supporting everything from itinerary creation and pricing logic to booking management, operational workflows and more.
This is a high-impact, end-to-end product design role focused on solving complex, real-world problems in a domain where usability, speed, and clarity directly affect revenue, efficiency, and customer experience. You’ll own a product area, partner closely with Product and Engineering, and help evolve platforms used daily by professional travel sellers.
This role is ideal for a senior designer who enjoys ambiguity, systems-level thinking, and designing for expert users—not just consumers. If you are passionate about solving real problems, delivering valuable solutions, and eager to learn new technologies, this is the opportunity for you!
What You’ll Do:
Product Discovery & Problem Solving
- Lead UX discovery for complex workflows by deeply understanding user needs, operational constraints, and business goals.
- Translate research insights into clear problem statements, user journeys, and experience principles.
- Explore multiple solution paths through sketching, wireframes, prototypes, and usability testing.
End-to-End Design Ownership
- Own the design lifecycle for your product domain—from early concept through delivery, iteration, and post-launch optimization.
- Design intuitive, scalable user flows for sophisticated B2B use cases such as itinerary building, booking management, and internal tooling.
- Deliver polished final design specs and documentation for seamless developer handoff.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work as part of a tight product trifecta (UX, Product, Engineering) to shape roadmap decisions and ensure design intent is executed effectively.
- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to balance user needs, technical constraints, and commercial outcomes.
- Communicate design decisions clearly, using data, research, and rationale to build alignment and trust.
Design Systems & Standards
- Leverage and evolve TripArc’s design system to ensure consistency across platforms.
- Document interaction patterns, UI specifications, and design rationale to support scalable development.
- Champion UX best practices across teams and contribute to a strong design culture.
Measurement & Optimization
- Define UX success metrics and KPIs tied to usability, efficiency, and business impact.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to validate designs and continuously improve outcomes.
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of professional UX design experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex digital products.
- A strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design work, including discovery, problem framing, interaction design, and shipped solutions.
- Proven ability to design in ambiguous, evolving problem spaces and iterate quickly based on feedback.
- Strong systems thinking and experience designing for expert users, operational tools, or B2B platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and influence cross-functional partners.
- Experience collaborating closely with product managers and engineers in agile environments.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript capabilities and constraints.
- Experience defining and tracking UX metrics to measure effectiveness and guide iteration.
- AI fluency—hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance research, ideation, prototyping, or design workflows.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the travel industry, ecommerce, or other complex service-based domains.
- Experience designing internal tools, revenue-impacting workflows, or multi-sided platforms.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
Why TripArc:
- Design products used daily by professionals running real businesses.
- Work on complex, meaningful problems where UX directly impacts revenue and efficiency.
- High ownership, high trust, and real influence on product direction.
- A collaborative, fast-moving environment that values learning, iteration, and craft.
