What this role is about:
As a Corporate Development & Strategy Associate, you will partner closely with RapidSOS leadership on key strategic priorities. As a member of the Corporate Development and Strategy Team, you’ll be a critical driver of fundraising, M&A, and business development, working closely with internal and external stakeholders. You’ll succeed in this role if you have strong business acumen, the ability to create clear narratives via presentations, financial models, etc., and have strong interpersonal skills. You’ll excel in this role if you enjoy wearing multiple hats, have an analytical mindset, thrive at solving strategic and operational challenges, and are mission-driven with a low ego.
What you’ll do:
- Own our growth model from the bottom up: Model revenue growth, track and model key SaaS metrics, analyze long-term margins, and conduct scenario analysis for critical investor and board reporting and to gauge business unit health.
- Support the company leadership in executing strategic plans, facilitating relationships with prospective and current investors, managing board dialogue, and other special projects.
- Collaborate with the sales, finance, and operations teams to track business success metrics and build the associated forward growth plan including go-to-market strategy, new vertical development, and M&A strategy.
- Provide ad hoc financial and operational modeling and business case analysis in areas such as M&A, strategic partnerships, new product development.
- Conduct in depth research and analysis to develop strategy and plan for new vertical expansion.
What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, consulting, or other similar fields.
- Exceptional analytical skills; high attention to detail with polished visual, written, and oral presentation skills - fluency in Excel / PowerPoint or Google Suite.

Starting pay for a successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include experience, relevant skills, training, education, location, business needs, or market demands. The salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000. This role will also be eligible to receive equity options.
