YOUR ROLE:
RAPP is seeking a Braze Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on audience management, templated email development, executing a process for proofing campaign variations prior to launch, handling production launches, overseeing automated campaigns, and providing basic reporting/feedback on campaign execution. The ideal candidate will possess Braze experience in an agency environment
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Audience Development: Configure audience segmentation in Braze based on provided targeted fields, value set, suppression criteria and required business rules. Develop & run audits to validate segmentation.
- Data Management: Manage data ingestion to Braze platform in support of Audience Development.
- Email Development: Develop and modify responsive email and email templates from HTML generated by design team via Figma+Emailify (or) cloning and modifying existing resources (or) building new versions from templated components.
- Email Proofing: Develop and execute a process for delivering “proofs” of every campaign touch variation to internal (agency) and external (client) stakeholders. Follow agency best practices. Develop campaign test data and maintain proofing lists.
- Campaign Set-up: Email campaign set up, including Seeds. Align on A/B test structure when required. Schedule campaigns based on approved send dates / times and execute email deployments via Braze.
- Triggered Sends: Set-up and manage triggered sends to automate real-time responses based on customer actions as needed.
- Reporting: Generate campaign performance reports and/or dashboards to monitor operations. Track key metrics e.g. open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates to measure campaign success.
- Collaboration: Work directly with client teams to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery. RAPP will provide technical oversight for adherence to agency best practices and to provide implementation guidance as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Braze: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role. Proven track record of successfully managing and launching marketing campaigns. Proficiency with Braze Data Platform, Email, Journey Orchestration, Cross-Channel Messaging, Experimentation, Reporting.
- Scripting with Liquid: Proficiency using Liquid scripting for Dynamic Content and Personalization.
- Project Management: Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously and ensuring timely delivery.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

This range is specific to Dallas and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
