As an RCX Sports League Management Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with league operators across all RCX sports programs. This role will be responsible for understanding our customer’s needs, managing accounts, and ensuring customer compliance and satisfaction. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, communication skills and a strong understanding of league operations and the youth sports landscape. 

What you’ll do (Job Responsibilities): 

  • League Operator Onboarding: 
    • Manage your assigned regional account and guide new league operators through the transition from the RCX Sports Sales team to League Management team by ensuring new league operators are provided the resources to successfully launch and sustain their licensed youth sports league
    • Check-in with new league operators frequently (via phone and/or in-person when applicable) to provide guidance and ensure success by connecting league operators with resources provided by RCX Sports (technology, product, marketing, customer service)  
    • Proactively share best practices to educate new league operators on how to efficiently launch, operate, and grow their licensed youth sports league 
  • League Growth: 
    • Support the growth of all operators within your account by developing account plans and strategies to help achieve customer goals and company objectives
    • Identify opportunities to advise league operators of additional products or services provided by RCX Sports that lead to increased participation, revenue, and/or expanding into multi-sport offerings  
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, events, product development, and customer service, to regularly present new resources, opportunities, and partnership benefits to league operators
    • Prepare and present regular updates and reports to League Account Manager 
  • Customer Retention & Relationship Building: 
    • Support customer retention through collaboration with league operators to understand their unique needs, implementing processes for continuous support, and proactively providing guidance to ensure their success
    • Assist league operators effectively addressing league inquiries, concerns, and other requests for assistance with their league through timely correspondence and regular virtual meetings, phone calls, email, or in-person check-ins
    • Regularly provide league operator feedback to League Account Manager and leadership to influence development of untapped resources for league operators 
  • Compliance & Governance: 
    • Coordinate with League Account Managers to develop specific account strategies to encourage and confirm operators maintain compliance standards across all sports programs
    • Assist League Account Managers with regular compliance audits of licensed youth sports leagues in order to determine compliance with the rules of each program and address any that are in violation
    • Ensure league operators have a clear understanding of licensed league agreements including the rules and standards of each RCX Sports property  

What you’ll bring (Minimum Qualifications): 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • At least 1 year of account management, business development, or customer service experience (sports industry experience preferred)  
  • Basic understanding of account management, business development, customer service, and league operations best practices
  • A strong understanding of the youth sports landscape including, the youth sports landscape, youth leagues, their structure, and/or dynamics
  • Flexibility to travel to in-person league and company meetings
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and foster key relationships with current and prospective clients  
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to build authentic, collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
  • Initiative-taking and driven professional mindset with a passion for the enhancement of youth sports across the country 

More about the role (Additional Position Details): 

  • Travel: Up to 10%
  • Work Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday). Work schedule may vary based on regular business hours of your assigned region, for this particular role, it will be required to work West Coast (Pacific Standard Time) hours. 
  • Compensation Structure: Starting salary range $50,000/year - $53,000/year, salaried, FLSA non-exempt (overtime eligible), paid weekly. Our pay grades are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus & benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability, 401(k), Paid Parental Leave, Unlimited PTO, Monthly Wellness expense Reimbursment and additional voluntary benefits.
  • Reports to: League Account Manager
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None
