Who we are looking for
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manufacturing Engineer Lead to drive the execution of advanced manufacturing projects from concept to production. The ideal candidate is an expert in process engineering, lean manufacturing, and automation, with experience working in high-mix, low-volume production environments. They will be responsible for technical leadership, project execution, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, cost, and delivery performance.
What you get to do
- Lead end-to-end manufacturing engineering activities from concept to production, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop, optimize, and scale production processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with design, quality, supply chain, and operations teams to transition products from concept to production.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles, automation, and Industry 4.0 technologies to drive efficiency.
- Act as the technical liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Support the development of work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training programs for production teams.
- Be responsible for capital equipment selection, commissioning, and maintenance to support advanced manufacturing processes.
What you bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field with equivalent experience accepted. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in advanced manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, or automotive industries.
- Experienced in process development, automation, and new product introduction (NPI).
- Solid understanding of various manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, additive manufacturing, robotics, sheet metal fabrication, and digital manufacturing tools.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) or PMP, preferred
- Experience with CAD/CAM software, ERP/MRP systems, and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Experience in AS9100, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949 environments, preferred
- Knowledge of PLC programming, industrial automation, and IoT technologies, preferred
