Who we are looking for
Seeking a skilled and motivated Development Engineer with Thermoplastics experience to lead multi-functional projects from concept through production. The ideal candidate brings engineering expertise, strong project management skills, and experience in manufacturing environments—preferably aerospace. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
What you will get to do
- Define and maintain project timelines and budgets, ensuring alignment with objectives.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design, plan, and execute innovative solutions.
- Lead project planning and design review meetings across departments.
- Develop manufacturing strategies and contribute to design-for-manufacturing efforts.
- Support manufacturing teams in optimizing production processes and ensuring readiness for production milestones.
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams, providing updates and addressing project needs.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring successful project outcomes.
What you bring to the team
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering roles, preferably in aerospace or a related field.
- Background in thermoplastics or composite material manufacturing processes.
- Strong project management skills, including scoping, scheduling, and communication.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software, and high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and workflows in ISO/AS environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
