Who we are looking for
We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and dynamic Manufacturing Engineering Senior Manager to join our team in New Kensington, PA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving process improvements, leading cross-functional teams, and managing the execution of ambitious manufacturing projects. Your expertise in engineering and leadership will be essential in coordinating the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, ensuring flawless efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to world-class quality standards.
What you get to do
- Lead the site’s engineering team and set priorities.
- Manage engineering workload and support other business units as needed.
- Provide hands-on technical support and guidance to engineers.
- Support quoting with manufacturability reviews and tooling cost estimates.
- Improve manufacturing processes for quality, cost, safety, and efficiency.
- Work closely with production, quality, supply chain, and build teams.
- Lead new product, process, and equipment launches.
- Track project progress and resolve engineering and production issues.
- Support manufacturing engineering integration with the ERP system.
What you bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
- 8+ years of engineering leadership or project management experience in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of machining/manufacturing processes and lean principles.
- Experience using CAD/CAM or similar engineering tools.
- Ability to lead teams and solve practical production problems.
- Experience with budgeting, resource planning, and project risk.
- ERP experience (Infor SyteLine preferred).
- Experience working under certified quality systems (AS9100, ISO, etc.).
- Industry experience (aerospace, automotive, electronics) is a plus.
