Who we are looking for

This role leads go-to-market strategy and storytelling for Cadonix’s cloud-native ECAD platform during a critical product-market fit phase. The Product Marketing Manager builds deep understanding of electronic design engineers in our first focus group. They develop messaging that resonates with early adopters and craft content that generates strong enthusiasm and organic word-of-mouth growth. Partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Sales, this role translates technical capabilities into compelling narratives, turns early users into vocal product champions, and rapidly iterates on positioning, content, and launch motions based on real-world signal from the user community.

What you get to do

  • Persona development: Document the challenges, workflows, communities, and preferences of our initial target cohort. Continuously refine personas as we learn directly from users.
  • Narrative and positioning: Craft and iterate the “why Cadonix” story for cloud-native ECAD. Develop messaging that speaks to early adopters who are frustrated with legacy, file-based, and version-control-heavy workflows.
  • Early-adopter community building: Identify and cultivate product champions among initial users. Build a small, vocal community of design engineers who drive organic word-of-mouth, share their work, and pull in their peers.
  • Content creation: Produce hands-on technical marketing content including blog posts, demo videos, walkthrough tutorials, social posts, one-pagers, and short-form clips that resonate with practicing engineers.
  • Customer discovery and voice-of-customer: Run discovery calls, structured interviews, surveys, and feedback loops with prospects and active users. Synthesize insights into clear, actionable input for Product and Marketing.
  • Launch and release marketing: Coordinate cross-functional launches for new features and achievements. Run beta programs, set up structured feedback channels, and turn launches into community moments.
  • Competitive intelligence: Maintain a working understanding of competing and adjacent ECAD tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, EAGLE). Craft credible, honest head-to-head narratives.
  • Sales enablement: Equip the early sales motion with demos, decks, talk tracks, objection handlers, FAQs, and reference material. Sit in on sales calls and rapidly close gaps the team encounters.
  • Case studies and social proof: Identify reference customers and design wins from the initial cohort. Produce written case studies, video testimonials, and quotable references that build credibility with the next wave of users.
  • Metrics and iteration: Track sign-ups, activation, retention, and qualitative signals (community sentiment, NPS, user interviews). Report on what is working and what is not, and iterate weekly rather than quarterly.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Partner with Product to inform the roadmap with field signal, with Engineering to understand new capabilities deeply, and with Sales to keep messaging tightly aligned to real conversations.
  • Brand and tone: Help shape a voice that is technical, credible, and warm — one that practicing engineers want to read and share.

What you bring to the Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience and education.
  • 4+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS targeting technical buyers.
  • Direct experience marketing CAD, ECAD, EDA, PLM, simulation, or other engineering-focused software is strongly preferred. Hands-on familiarity with electronic design workflows is a major plus.
  • Demonstrated experience launching or growing an early-stage product (pre- or early product-market fit) is highly preferred over experience scaling mature, enterprise-integrated platforms.
  • Track record of building written and video content that engineers in the field actually read, share, and quote.

As a government contractor subject to the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA), we request this information in order to measure the effectiveness of the outreach and positive recruitment efforts we undertake pursuant to VEVRAA. Classification of protected categories is as follows:

A "disabled veteran" is one of the following: a veteran of the U.S. military, ground, naval or air service who is entitled to compensation (or who but for the receipt of military retired pay would be entitled to compensation) under laws administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs; or a person who was discharged or released from active duty because of a service-connected disability.

Voluntary Self-Identification of Disability

Form CC-305
OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
