About The Role

Are you a data-driven marketer who thrives on optimizing customer journeys and driving growth in a startup environment? Relay Payments is searching for a Growth and Lifecycle Marketing Manager, B2C, who will be instrumental in growing our B2C segment. With a strong background in e-commerce or app-based startups, you’ll leverage your expertise in analytics, intent data, user segmentation, and messaging to drive targeted and effective campaigns.

In this role, you’ll manage the entire B2C marketing funnel, collaborating closely with our product team to ensure alignment on customer experience and conversion strategies. You’ll also take charge of our owned media channels, creating campaigns that resonate with truck drivers and deliver real value. If you are passionate about using data to drive decisions, optimizing every touchpoint in the customer lifecycle, and seeing the results of your efforts in real time, this role is for you. Reporting directly to the CMO, you’ll have the chance to shape the future of Relay’s B2C marketing and contribute significantly to our growth.

  • Develop and manage the entire B2C marketing funnel, focusing on acquisition, upsell, retention, and re-engagement.
  • Optimize customer journeys through data-driven analysis, user segmentation, and personalized messaging strategies.
  • Collaborate with the product team to align marketing strategies with customer experience and conversion goals.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of owned media campaigns, targeting key user segments.
  • Utilize analytics and intent data to drive targeted marketing initiatives and measure their effectiveness.
  • Continuously optimize marketing campaigns to improve conversion rates and drive growth.
  • Report on key performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape to drive innovation in B2C marketing efforts.

About You

  • 5+ years of growth marketing experience with a focus on lifecycle marketing for mobile app users
  • Familiar with platforms like OneSignal or Braze for managing customer engagement and messaging
  • Strong experience in user segmentation and targeting to optimize customer journeys and campaign effectiveness
  • Organized, strategic, and disciplined in your approach to marketing execution
  • Proven ability to measure and enhance the effectiveness of campaigns at each stage of the funnel
  • Experienced in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across channels (email, direct mail, digital advertising, social media)
  • Capable of managing multiple marketing programs simultaneously, ensuring alignment with overall growth goals
  • Strong understanding of how to leverage product and mobile marketing to drive B2C growth
  • Open to experimenting with new strategies and adapting based on data-driven insights
