Senior Revenue Strategy Analyst

Relay, a Raleigh-based tech startup, is looking to change the way we communicate. We’re on a mission that matters, and we're hiring for a Senior Revenue Strategy Analyst with strong financial modeling skills and startup experience to our team to help accelerate this mission.

What is Relay? A platform that includes a simple, rugged, internet-enabled smart-device, and all the software that runs with it, for B2B clients and frontline workers across multiple industries and verticals. We've achieved proven product-market fit with a user experience that solves real-world customer pain and unlocks new capabilities. We are expanding our Product Management team to support this growth!

This role will focus on aligning business models—including pricing, go-to-market (GTM) motions, and support models—with our target customer segments in order to maximize growth and profitability. This role will play a critical role in evaluating the effectiveness of our current approaches, validating hypotheses, and refining strategies to accelerate our scaling efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation & Hypothesis Testing: Design and manage processes to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of our go-to-market-motions, validating key assumptions, and refining approaches based on data-driven insights.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure business models are aligned with overall company goals and customer expectations.
  • Market Analysis: Partner with Market Strategy team to gather ongoing analysis of market trends, competitive pricing, and customer behavior to inform business model decisions.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business models and revenue strategies, reporting regularly to leadership on progress and insights.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience with strategy, financial analysis, revenue or corporate planning, and analytics
  • Highly proficient financial modeling and powerpoint deck building
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to form and validate hypotheses and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and present to senior leadership.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and shifting priorities
  • Entrepreneurial interest and passion for the startup space
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
