Proposal Coordinator I
At RES, we’re looking for purpose-driven individuals who are passionate about restoration and sustainability, and who want their work to make a lasting environmental impact. Our team members go above and beyond, bringing initiative, integrity, and a strong work ethic to every project. Collaboration is key—we thrive on teamwork, open communication, and diverse perspectives. In a field that constantly changes, we value those who are resilient, adaptable, and resourceful in the face of challenges. If you're intellectually curious, eager to learn, and ready to help restore ecosystems and protect natural resources, you’ll find your place here.
RES is looking for a Proposal Coordinator I to join our team.
As a Proposal Coordinator I at RES, you will support the development and submission of proposals and tender packages by coordinating inputs, consolidating content from multiple contributors, and ensuring final documents meet required formats and deadlines. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to build a career supporting environmental, engineering, and construction-focused work.
Why You’ll Love This Job:
- You’ll be a key player in winning meaningful work. Your organization and document skills directly support projects that restore ecosystems and protect natural resources.
- You’ll learn fast. You’ll build foundational experience in proposal development, collaboration, and professional document production.
- You’ll work with a team that supports you. You’ll partner with technical experts, project teams, and business leaders who value clear communication and shared success.
What your day-to-day might look like:
You’ll start your day by checking upcoming proposal deadlines and following up with team members on the content you need—project descriptions, resumes, schedules, or technical responses. You’ll consolidate multiple sections into a single tender format, making sure the structure, naming, and version control are clean and consistent.
As drafts come in, you’ll format content in Microsoft Word, coordinate edits, and maintain master files so the team always knows which version is current. You’ll also help assemble supporting documents (e.g., forms, required attachments, or reference materials) and ensure the final package is complete, polished, and submitted on time.
We would like to talk to you if you have many of the following:
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (preferred)
- Experience consolidating sections and/or documents developed by others into a required tender/proposal format (preferred)
- Experience maintaining master document sets and version control (preferred)
- Interest in a related field (environment, engineering, or construction) (preferred)
What will make you stand out:
- Strong Word formatting skills (styles, headers/footers, tables, page layout, cross-references, track changes)
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple deadlines while staying highly accurate
- Prior exposure to environmental, engineering, or construction terminology and deliverables
You Will Thrive in This Role If You:
- Enjoy organizing information and making documents clean, consistent, and client-ready
- Collaborate well with others and follow through on requests and deadlines
- Communicate clearly, ask good questions, and take ownership of your tasks
- Handle feedback well and improve quickly with coaching
- Use discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information
