About the team:

 

Our Custom Research teams partner with global pharmaceutical, biotech and medical technology clients to enable them to solve marketing, brand, advertising and communications problems through a mixture of innovative qualitative and quantitative market research techniques.

 

The team is not split into silos by client or therapy area, so you will be empowered to develop broad expertise across the healthcare landscape and will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of expert senior researchers and gain exposure to the full suite of research tools and techniques covered by the team.

 

About the role:

 

The Senior Director will take on a leadership role within our Asia Pacific team, responsible for overseeing the business unit P&L, as well as leading client engagement and driving business growth. The role will sit on our global Senior Management Team, working closely with other Senior Director peers and the CEO to develop and implement business strategy.

 

The Singapore team operates as an Asia Pacific hub for Research Partnership, working alongside colleagues in our international offices in Europe and Asia. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with people from across the global business.

 

Your primary role:

 

  • Development and execution of the vision and growth strategy for the Asia Pacific Custom Research business unit, in consultation and agreement with the RP CEO and supporting our global strategic priorities
    • This may include a specific focus on supporting the development and growth of our offshoring activities for our global teams within Asia Pacific, e.g. via our hub in India
  • Growing Research Partnership’s presence across the APAC region in accordance with overall company strategy
  • Leading business development initiatives with potential clients across the region, both independently and in collaboration with Directors and Senior Directors in Europe and the US
  • Managing and expanding the RP team based across Asia Pacific, including assessing performance, recruitment strategy and succession planning
  • You will also play a leading role in delivering and retaining a major quantitative brand tracking project for a regional client

 

 

About You…

 

Your skills and experience:

 

  • Significant leadership experience in primary market research (qual and quant) within the healthcare industry
  • Substantial regional experience within APAC
  • Demonstrable success in growing a primary research client-base, with significant personal sales capabilities plus leadership over other commercial activities
  • Experience driving growth and organization-wide revenue generation
  • Strong team leadership skills with experience in mentoring and developing leaders and their teams
  • Hands-on expertise with both qualitative and quantitative research techniques
  • Comfortable with key P&L metrics and using business forecasting to drive investment decisions
  • Experience working in a matrix management environment and able to prioritise across competing priorities and stakeholders
